Enhancing My Nose with Fillers - My First Experience

I have previously blogged about my non invasive V-face Botox treatment.
Today, I’m going to post some long awaited pictures and my another first personal experience as promised on my 'new nose'.


Here's a picture of my current nose shape.
It's amazing how something as small as your nose shape can change the way you feel.

Aging of the Nose:
As we age, our noses change, lose volume, the bone and soft tissue dissolves.
There is reduction of the structural support of the nose tip causing the nose tip to droop. Filler can treat the structural aging of the nose.

Noses can be injected for afew purposes with fillers
1. To look younger
2. To look more beautiful
3. To correct the shape
(Imperfections, defects or asymmetries following surgical rhinoplasty may be improved)

My main concern is my nose bridge and tip, so in order to enhance the nose shape I decide to try out the procedure of injecting fillers into my nose bridge.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers* are a good choice for nose fillers in Singapore and a good alternative to invasive procedures such as implant surgery, while still being able to create a beautiful facial shape. It is bio-compatible and can be reversed if needed, making it very safe for facial contouring use. The procedures for chin fillers, cheek fillers and nose fillers are all completed in 1 session. Results are fast with pain being minimal.

  • First there a local anesthetic were injected at the nose area.
  • Ice will be applied to the area briefly before treatment. The doctor will inject using a very fine needle. The fine needle makes a small hole in the skin where the filler will be inserted.
  • The fillers* will then be injected all the way from the tip of my nose.
 

  • When the needle gets in, the doctor warned that there would be some uncomfortable sensation and to be honest, this hurts quite a bit but I swear its really tolerable.
    Depending on your tolerance level. For me its a level of 6/10 as my skin is really thin. After that he worked very quickly to shape and mold my nose into desired position like some Play Doh.

The results were instant and there was such an obvious improvement.


After I left the clinic, I touched up with some makeup before meeting my friends
I walked out really liking my nose but I was kinda self-conscious (maybe im not use to it). I find it too sharp and define for me but the doctor assured me it was just the beginning, everything will settle down within a few days and I will look good with the final result.


Next thing you know, my nose starts to swell (about 8 hours after the procedure).
*Dramatic thunder applauded*
But inflammation was expected and would reduce in swelling within days.

My boyfriend kept teasing and say I look like AVATAR. . . 😒

Please ignore my eyelid tape as I have unbalance eyelids and I stick it every night I sleep.  

There may be bruising, redness and swelling for some time but not to worry because its totally normal and it heals fast with minimal downtime.   

My downtime is 3 days, and just in time for my company dinner.

I was quite worry that I would looked funny with my 'new nose' but surprisingly no one noticed and most of my friends thought because I changed my makeup routine or probably the shape of my face has changed (botox) that's why my feature looked more define now.
 
 I have higher nose bridge now =)


A Week Later....

My nose bridge is still alittle swollen but its totally unnoticeable to others




My jobs are not affected at all and I did photoshoot as usual.
Im Loving how I look in the photos recently.
