Supply and Demand, located at Orchard Gateway.
An Italian Southeast Asian Bistro with an edgy industrial chic interior.

My first time trying out this modern “Italian Southeast Asian” bistro . There were Italian and Asian inspired dishes as well.
Most of the pastas, pizzas and main courses are priced below S$20.

My girlfriends decided to have pasta, while Im totally keen to give the meat dishes a try.
The meats menu is pretty interesting - choose one meat and have it done whichever way the chef wants to that day. It'll also be served with 2 side dishes. A surprise.

So I ordered the Australian Pork Rack $29
The meat is tender, just nice for my liking.

Arabbiatta w minced meat & chorizo $16

The pasta retained a nice mildly chewy texture. The cream sauce while thick, isn’t too cloying and the minced meat are just simply delicious. I really love it too.

Overall it was a pretty good meal, and we agreed that we could recommend this place to our friends.

Just a week later I meet JD, my brother and his girlfriend. I decided to give Supply & Demand another try as it seems one of the more promising restaurants at Orchard Gateway. Too late to make any reservations, we trotted down, took our que number and went shopping while waited an approximated of 40mins for a table.

Garlic Truffle Fries , super awesome and addictive.

Its kinda cute when it's served in a metal tin.

Chicken $17

The chicken is pretty tasty. But there’s nothing much to rave about this dish, except this dish is still above average. Unfortunately for me, but I don't really fancy how the chef decides the sauce and sides.  I can be quite picky with the sauce.

I was pretty tempted by the Al Vino Bianco (I saw Wendy ordered the other day, and it really looks pretty tempting).

Al Vino Bianco White Wine with Seafood $23

I absolutely love the broth, seafood and wine taste which I really enjoyed.

I would say Supply and Demand offers a pretty good spr0ead and at the above average food list. What I would definitely recommend are the pasta, and truffle fries.
I've yet to try out the pizza, but I'll definitely go back for their pizza soon.
