Somboon Seafood- Siam Sq One (Bangkok)

One of the well-known Chinese style restaurant that serves delicious and fresh seafood in central Bangkok is Somboon Seafood Restaurant.

The one I visited is located at Siam Square One. It is air conditioned and you can enjoy your seafood in comfort.

Their outlets are always bustling with locals and tourists, and don't be surprise there's actually afew fake Somboon Seafood restaurants riding on its popularity.

Beware of the taxi and tuk-tuk drivers, some of them will bring you to the fake Somboon restaurant , or they will scam you by telling you that Somboon Seafood is closed and bring you to other expensive seafood restaurant (It actually happened to me when I was at BKK but luckily I sensed something was wrong and left the place without ordering anything. I goggled and realised it was a scam.)

Just make sure to check on their website to before heading down.

Steamed Seabass with Soy Sauce

To be honest I don't really fancy this dish as the fish has a kinda fishy smell, but no doubt it's really fresh. Jd loves it, the meat is well done, but sadly I guess it just does not go well with my taste bud.

Stir fried fresh water prawns with garlic and chilli

The garlic and prawn stock was rich and tasty. The tiger prawns were huge, meaty and sweet.

Lastly, one of my favourite and one of their signature dish; Fried Curry Crab

Aroi Mak Mak!! (Very Very Delicious). Singapore is famous for our Chilli Crab. In Thailand, they are famous for their Curry Crab. It's not spicy but instead its very sweet and tasty with the egg cooked with curry sauce.
