Whats a holiday if you don't get to try authentic restaurant that serves their signature local dishes.
If you ever go Bangkok for holiday, Ban Khun Mae is definitely a must try authentic Thai restaurant located at Siam Square which is easily accessible via the BTS. It is also one of widely recognised by all, locals and tourists.
Ban Khun Mae means "My Mother’s Kitchen".
Like all good restaurants in Bangkok, they serve vegetarian food too and it’s affordable.
Baked Rice in Pineapple

Green Curry Chicken
As most of my friends know I can't really take spicy food. This green curry was really tasty!
I had actually tried afew Thai green curry in Singapore but they were all overpowering that sent me choking (almost to death lol), but this one had skilfully hit the bull's eyes. I simply couldn't say no to it. The rich strong coconut taste totally blends well.

Steamed Prawn with Milk
This is another thumbs up dish. It's a little salty, so you will need to go together with white rice. Nevertheless, this is another flavoursome dish. Definition of scrumptious.

Overall it was quite value for money for the quality of food.
